Shulz is MTV / Comedy Central talent, could be a relationship with networks or somebody he might know. But he broadens he audience.

Drink Champa - DJ EFFN is Cuban

Not familiar with Holdin Court or Arie Spears

Mike is mainstream so it makes sense. His presence is almost equivalent to a Snoop or a Marshawn Lynch.
Tyson’s cohost is Black now. Or at least was for a minute.

Broaden as in tap into a different types of listeners. He might have plugs Charlemagne doesn’t.
No:russ:

In those earliest years Schulz had no plugs or audience. It was literally two friends that worked at MTV starting a podcast. Charlemagne happened to be way more famous

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
I don't understand either.

Fact is there are over 30 million Black folks around America. That's an enormous crowd.

You win them over and other folks will look over the fence while you keep your roots.

Nothing worse than a sell out in entertainment.

You absolutely can get a highly diverse crowd if you keep it Black and be respectful to other races if you want bigger numbers.
Because it's never enough... If you got all 30 million black people to watch your shyt, you'd still want the 200 million whites to watch (and pay) you too... And if you feel all you gotta do is add some white guy to get them to tune in, you will
