I don't even think podcasts are making money like that anymore, the market is oversaturated.
The Chinese used to do the same thing when presenting their businesses to the western market.
They would have a white spokesperson who was the face of the businesss (but didn't own it) as a way to legitimise the business to the whites.
They're not in a position where they have to continue doing this as china/chinese as a whole are recognised globally and are seen as legit.
Isn’t the drink champs guy mexican or cuban or something?CTG had that Brilliant Idiots. Never watched it so dunno if it's still on.

Schulz has never been big enough to broaden Charlemagne's audience. That's a misunderstanding of how enormous the Breakfast Club was at on point. Even now the Breakfast Club is an international platformShulz is MTV / Comedy Central talent, could be a relationship with networks or somebody he might know. But he broadens he audience.

Charlemagne and Schulz did a lot of work on MTV and got cool enough to decide to make a podcast around their arguments
Dead End Hip Hop is all black and they have a pod called Is The Mic Still On
This isn’t a lie thoughit emanates from the notion that you'll starve serving a Black audience exclusively.
You somehow have to pander to the White mainstream audience and their dollars..that's where it comes from.
