Why do so many that post here have a problem with social media?

When did I say it was? Im talking about twitter, facebook, instagram, etc. I dont consider forums social media, but we all have our definitions of sm I guess.

Social media is what you make it. People use it for different reasons. I use it to keep up with friends, news, meet people, and look at some bad hoes . But I don't see a reason to make extreme assumptions about people on forums simply because they have anonymity. Last I checked no one in this thread has their real picture in their avatar nor do they have their own Instagrams, Facebooks, or twitter pages up here either. Saying people are one way because they don't like social media is nothing but a cop out when you don't have the answers.

Social media and new age technology is open for the taking and could be used to build and grow a better tomorrow.

I use social media because I wanna see what the people I know are doing...and where my people head at when I come back home....case in point, I when was home this weekend I ran into my next door neighbor I grew up with. We catch up and I tell him about college and my starting my career, this nikka , with a straight face, was like "sheed, my nikka I been in jail for 6 years for armed robbery but I got out on good behavior tho"

This nikka brags about jail the whole damn day to me and everyone else in the vicinity.

Also, for many of the loser types that populate forums social media is a constant reminder of the harsh reality that they're not doing so hot in their lives.

It's easy to log into The Coli, troll some threads and feel like you've accomplished something.

It's a lot harder to feel that way when your old college buddy is posting about the new position they landed or their overseas honeymoon while you're wasting away, sitting on your ass, wallowing in a sea of cum soaked paper towels, empty bottles of Mountain Dew and crumpled up Cheetos bags.

because twitter is extremely corny and that's considered the leading social media platform (excluding facebook, of course). that's probably why so many don't like it.
