Being social, and being a gratification seeker get mixed up.

Social means being around people. Posting every single thought, quote, pic, or dinner plate usually means you want people to like you and comment on what you're doing, becasue its gratifying to know people look at you.

For the birds.

Ive never had a facebook, twitter, or insta ..... Im on Linkedin for business purposes and my company has a twitter account which is strictly business related that someone else operates..

I have nothing against social media but its not for me, there have always been people that put their business out there and people who are more guarded .......one is not better than the other.... Im just one of those people that are more guarded , I see no benefit in boring my friends and family with the minutiae of my life

You sound paranoid for no reason.

too much talking, not enough doing.

its always been like that.

but social media makes it worse.
man what the hell are you talking about.

Try too hard? Dose of reality?

Bro, The Coli is NOT real life. Get out and live, breh. If you did that then you wouldn't think that I'm "trying to hard." It's just called living.

Not all of us are couch potatoes spending our best years jerking off on the internet.
don't bother...dude is one of the lamest people on this site. "sexually frustrated nerd" drips off every single one of his posts. he's in a perpetual state of .

Also, for many of the loser types that populate forums social media is a constant reminder of the harsh reality that they're not doing so hot in their lives.

It's easy to log into The Coli, troll some threads and feel like you've accomplished something.

It's a lot harder to feel that way when your old college buddy is posting about the new position they landed or their overseas honeymoon while you're wasting away, sitting on your ass, wallowing in a sea of cum soaked paper towels, empty bottles of Mountain Dew and crumpled up Cheetos bags.

So who's the loser in this scenario? :troll:

I have no beef with social media I just dont see a need to have more than one at a time.

I asked people why would I need a twitter when I have facebook. "Because you can say how you feel or what your doing without worrying about your family or family friends seeing it."
me, "Well if your worried about all that maybe you shouldn't be posting it on the internet in the first place..."
