Gucci has excellent delivery and cadence, so much so that entire generations of new artists are inspired by his style. You don't know what you're talking about which is no surprise based on other posts I've seen by you.

The niigga sounds like an old slave.
He looks like dirt. The music garbage. But if thats your thing.:manny:

More like early 90s. It was barely a genre in the late 60s. Grunge killed it
Yeah "Heavy Metal" is probly the wrong term, maybe hard rock is a better term, but everything it encompasses, like all forms of punk and sub genres of metal have been very influential and anti-establiahment/negative for a very long time and it still continues today.

Pretty much all genres have sections of it that can be considered negative because glorifying shyt is such a huge part of making music.

Hip hop fell in 1996 when the music industry saw it becoming to powerful so the sought to water it down and control owner at the same time.

nope. It just got more popular. Most white folks , and blacks folks, for the matter like watered down music. Mass appeal comes at a cost to creativity. that is same for all forms of music.

Most people are quickly bored by "real" hip hop. They want a simple beat and simple hook because it's fun.

Well whatever. Ultimately it is just entertainment and too many niiggas treated like a religion.

Maybe if that destructive activity didn't occur in real life otherwise they'd find something else to rap about.

Half of these rappers aren't even "about that life" yet that's all they're pushing.
Asap Ferg, Rick Ross, 2chainz, Camron, Diddy, Plies, Kanye, J Cole, Waka...these dudes attended college as far as I know. Why don't they ever glorify those experiences to the same extent they glorify the ignorance? Do you not think that they're making a concious effort to dumb down themselves and their audience? Imagine these guys going back to their hometowns and helping disadvantaged kids learn abour the process of applying for college? Or even better, teach them how to start a business or learn a trade. there's a difference between talking about your struggles and mistakes vs glorifying them.

Im pretty sure its old noggas taking hip hop seriously.

Take the booth for example most poster there are well over their "young" years.

"Kendrick lamar is a plant"

"Young Thug fakkitry wouldn't have been tolerated in the 90s"

" Nas is _____"

" Jay Z is ___ or some Camel joke"

Most young people just bump music for what is it and keep it moving

The thing is these rapper are idiots.
The whole persauna is based 80s crack dealer. That is schitt keeps niiggas under surveillance and in prison. They made almost impossible for the average hustlers to operate. But that's another story...

Rap lyrics, unlike most music today, flirts between real and fantasy (authenticity) to the point were some people cant separate or see the difference.

This is nothing new, there has always been debates on how authentic a performer and their lyrics should be. (ex. singers talk about a broken hearts but happily married. singing about being in poverty, but not being poor.)

Short Answer: No.

Edit: and of course this muh Egypt tool would actually lump J.Cole and Kanye in with Waka, Plies and Rick Ross. Troll harder.:russ:
