Why do some folks have such a strong distaste towards black nerds?

Most Black nerds I know are c00nish as fukk and feel like hot shyt for being fans of anime

I was in the chess club, model un, wrote up RPGs, hosted retrogaming parties, all that stuff and I was in a huge majority-Black school, we had nikka nerds everywhere but a lot of them were really on that shyt

The latter are pathetic because they think Comic Books and Anime make them "morally/intellectually" superior to people who prefer Love & Hip-Hop.

The inverse is true too. Ask women who watch those shows what they feel about basic shyt like dragon ball. People will always shyt on whats not in their specific circle, but that's pretty much life. If you're tracking statistics on various althletes, you really don't have a leg to stand on when comes to scenarios like this

On a serious note, the non-condescending nerds will save our lives. Try shytting on your doctor that wants to save your life, or the accountant that prepares your taxes to prevent you from going to jail from the IRS, or even your lawyer that protects your was from the cops

Its kinda like, most nikkas still on this "popularity" shyt. At least where I'm from or at.

If you not talking about "hustling" or all into sports (which I'm very much into basketball and boxing) then you not nikka enough or hood enough.

But yet I'm in the gym daily, boxing daily, making music, making money, collecting guns while doing IT work, watching certain animes, watching different TV shows/movies, playing games, etc.

I swear I think I don't fit in at all at times.

There's a huge difference between casually enjoying something, and it defining your existence and being an important part of your life.

If someone asks you what your interests are, and one of the first things out your mouth is "I LOVE ANIME!!" most people, male or female, are gunna give you the side eye. It's weird shyt, bruh.

If you want to act defiant then be my guest. If demanding people accept your infatuation with cartoons is the hill you want to die on, then don't act surprised with the results.

It's because a lot of nerds are non-aggressive, and ya'll who don't remember the 90's and early 00's might not understand, being black and non-aggressive was like a huge contradiction in the culture.

This means that they were easy targets in high school for people trying to gain a reputation... the a$$holes, knowing this, used it to their advantage to prove themselves to females that they had "swag" or "game" or were tough or hard.

Females, being ever so impressionate by the aggressive male, see this, and start to believe that nerds are "weak" or soft. They don't want them now...because they're insecure..what would their friends think, etc...This leads to disrespect by females too.

Now if a nerd has an aggressive personality all that shyt stops. I actually knew a few, complete total geeks but they lived in the hood and went to the hood school so they knew how to assert themselves. Because of that, they never had the same social problems.

That's really all there was to it, to me.

There's also the academic, intellectual side of this too but this is because other people are jealous. I won't consider that
