I hear quite a few "Save Yourself Black Man" types talk about how Black women are this or Black women are that and that Black men ought to save themselves headaches by pursuing other types of women.
That's fine and dandy. My brother's wife is White/Irish and we're super cool with each other. And I myself almost married a foreign (Black) woman back in 2017/2018. Yet it's almost never brought up how Black African countries are arguably the most traditional part of the world only second to the Middle East. In many African countries, women remain virgins until marriage, men are expected to be providers while women are expected to do a lot of housework, religion(Christianity and Islam) are huge, and hookup culture isn't a major thing at all. And while Jamaica has many of the same social ills that plague inner city Black America, other West Indian countries are very traditional like African countries and many "Black women" stereotypes that get spouted don't apply there either.
Hell, lumping all Black American/AADOS women together isn't right either but it seems especially odd for SYSBM types to not acknowledge how the notion that Black women as a whole are thotting it up with Pookies/thugs and acting like Jezebels isn't even a major thing in actual Black countries and pretty much only applies to certain inner city Black American communities.
I feel a lot of dudes on that wave would have better views of Black women as a whole if they understood how diverse Black women are. AADOS women are diverse too but many of the dynamics that get talked about here straight up don't apply in many Black nations. Hell, in NYC, I don't think I've met a single West African woman who had a child out of wedlock. All my Naija/Ghanaian female friends are either married or holding themselves out for marriage with no kids yet.
