This is what it's about for 90% in my opinion. A lot of bad jobs and low wages back home, they get a chance to make in a week what they would make in a month or 2 months home. Keeping up with the Jones is important in Latin America, and stunting is a big deal for you to get respect and women.

Families trying to come up in the US and go home and live comfortable and better off than people who stayed and worked low wage jobs in their own cities. The narrative of the poor illegal immigrant escaping a war zone is ridiculous.

That's the thing though. I'm not caping for any system. This is a "told you so" moment. When the system was attacking me, nobody cared. As a matter of fact some helped my attackers in my oppression. Now some of those people have been turned on and I'm suppose to for them?
