I know we expect honesty, but it's not really all that 100% honest of a system.
It may be logically in a vacuum (due process, checks/balances, etc.), but in practice and execution it's very "sometimey" which is the frustrating part.
That's when some groups get the benefit of the doubt and some don't.
Let's call it what it is and don't play us like we're dumb here: some groups get privileged/lopsided treatment.
That's a fact with mathematical validation.
That's why the system doesn't really work as advertised. If it did, the world wouldn't look the way it does today.
There are simply too many exceptions going in all directions depending on who you are.
Your rules are only as good and consistent as you enforce them. Everything else doesn't matter until that's truly been resolved.
Show me a true, fair system first and then we can have a more pure and honest conversation and get to real solutions about "politics".

Until you get the first part resolved, it'll never fully work no matter how much we lie to ourselves while victims actually feel it.

4. Conservatives (because they were never rid of) bide their time waiting for/manipulating Liberals to make the mistake, spread like a virus^^, rile up more of the audience and get re-elected.
5. Repeat.
Our floor keeps sinking this way.

Yeah, we need to do step 2 and 3 the right way: elect the people that will get rid of the virus completely, somehow.
I'm not supporting it anymore until we get that. I value my vote to actually do something.
