Politicians don't even understand politics these days. It's mostly chaos motivated to be orderly by lobbies, incentives and the continuance of the incentives by way of re-election. And power of course.

They're too scared to say they're mad at the $100 billion aid ask by Biden to Congress the other night. They want to be mad because the nation can spend all this money on foreign aid but doesn't shell out for reparations. What the overwhelming majority fail to understand is that Biden can't just can't wave his hand and make reparations happen. They fail to understand that spending bills have to originate in the house: Power of the Purse | US House of Representatives: History, Art & Archives . They also fail to understand that white America via the Republicans will never let it happen. They choose to ignore the obstruction by Republicans, instead preferring to blame Democrats for everything bad that has, is, or will ever happen. Some of them voted once, maybe even twice, and expected the world to change overnight. When it didn't, they decided that their vote didn't count for anything, so why bother? Then they become staunch TLRepublicans, screaming from the top of their lungs #BothSides and don't vote. But rather than saying this transparently, they try to lead you in with vague statements and misinformed lines of questioning.
