People keep confusing unwed mothers with fatherless children. Children of divorced parents have an unwed mother, but that does not mean that the children are fatherless. Children who parents are married can have a father that is an abusive drunk who squanders money and doesn't take care of his kids. Those children are in a wedded house, but they are fatherless.
People keep citing stats, but I am not sure that people fully understand what the stats actually mean.
