If the only response to all that i said is "You a white boy", not only do i know i am right, you are also an idiot. Which i might add from your posting history is not a shocker.
This is a black site,
Why would I argue with a white boy about what we do and why? You wouldn’t know

Let’s talk about washing rice
Depends what kind of rice and what you want the consistency to be. My girls part asian so we use a rice cooker; shell rinse the rice until the water runs clear. There will occasionally be small debris and stuff but I always assumed it was to get rid of the starch.

If I'm making beans I’ll rinse them before cooking. I've never washed chicken in my life. My dad does, his family does, I don't see the point. I will pat dry prior to marinating or anything though.

I dont thoroughly wash my chicken i just rinse it a little, helps get the seasonings to stick easier, lather olive oil to crisp the skin and bake/grill. I wash my potatoes, tomatoes, fruits and other types of produce though :manny:

All the 🤫 wypipo really letting it hang in this thread

Again, AGAIN, what is being discussed is not what you are talking about. What is being discussed is people taking chicken and running tap water over it in sinks, not wet brining, spreading bacteria.
:mjtf: I wash all my meat (pause). Nobody is splashing salmonella water all over the kitchen, we use basins. :queen:

I'm questioning a lot of yall black status rn, ngl. :scust:

Washing rice is crazy to me. Maybe when factories were unregulated. Maybe in the third world. Whats next washing grits, pasta, oats, quinoa, couscous?

I asked because as a foodie I’ve seen many, many people talk about this recently.

Yeah I think it really depends on the kind of rice.
