Nobody ever denied that some blk women had preferences for light dudes or internalized self hate. It’s just that growing up blk women weren’t the ones literally turning skin tone into a roast session to the same extent some blk dudes did.
Or telling dark dudes they couldn’ty get into clubs or parties.
Or putting bows on pictures of roaches with captions reading “blk girls at prom”
Or telling the world every 20 seconds randomly about their PREFERENCE for light brites, while calling dark dudes, dark butts, dirt butts, dirty, ugly, masculine, or saying dark chicks are good for beating b/c you can’t see the bruises on them…and so on.
Plenty of blk women have internalized self-hate but growing up some blk dudes literally made an identity out of hating any female darker than a paper bag. Even if they were dark themselves.
But I hate this conversation on this site b:c somebody just gon deny, get defensive, be disingenuous like colorism against dark chicks didn’t exist unless it’s the evil dark skin chicks hating on the innocent light skinned chicks or fetishizing light skinned features.
As someone who ain’t even dark skinned and watched this shyt play out, some of ya’ll go full retard revisionist when it comes to colorism. The crazy thing is some of the worse roasting of dark dudes didn’t even come from blk women. It came from other blk dudes themselves but that’s another conversation too b/c if we go too deep some loser gon come through like a hit bytch hollering being defensive.
