Avon even after finding out stringer killed D, still tried to make things right with brother mouzone before he gave up stringer

Stringer was going to do Avon dirty by going to Colvin. The worst thing Stringer did besides having D killed was playing Mouzonne and Omar and in the midst of it he messed with Avon name and reputation. In the game all they have is their name and rep, Mouzonne reminded Avon of this and if he didn't act the New York connection was going to completely freeze Avon out because his name and rep would be shyt who would ever trust him.

he didn’t just “not step in”...he told them where it was best to get stringer and that’s how they caught him off guard...technically it was a betrayal but ultimately it couldn’t be avoided...they would’ve gotten stringer anyway but avon was compelled to give him up to mouzone cuz even tho avon had nothing to do w/ omar shooting him it still happened under the guidance of “his man”...so avon had to make it up to mouzone to prove his word/name was still bond...stringer giving up avon to the police tho was a worse betrayal imo
