fukked up thing is that none of that had to happen if Avon would've just listened to String about getting off the corners and getting down with Joe and the co-op. Avon even said it at the end when him and Slim Charles was talking and Slim told him it didn't matter now, that if they went to war over a lie then they had to fight.

Of course it's just a show, but in real life there comes a point where you and your business partner may just have to go your separate ways, no hard feelings, cause you're going in different directions.

D wasn't gonna snitch. String making unnecessary maneuvers is what pushed that situation when he killed Wallace. So no, that isn't justified either nor when he snitched to cops on Avon.
I always felt D wasn't going to snitch. He took the 20 years and was shaking his drug habit. He just wanted to be left alone.

20 years is a loooong time...that nikka get to asking “where’s wallace again?” and you don’t know what else he might do/say next

Stringer created that entire situation.

It also caused Mouzone to sanction Avon and some of his contract muscle wasn't fukking with him anymore, so the shyt with Marlo and Omar dragged on....

Stringer was the biggest snake on the wire and it was to his own demise.

Avon giving him to Mouzone was justified.

He already gave up Wee Bey at that point.

In the middle of a rewatch now, on season 3
Stringer lied and manipulated ppl ALOT
A lot of his decisions seemed unnecessarily evil and snake like towards ppl who were loyal to him
a true snake, that’s why him getting played by the politicians was poetic justice
Stringer created that entire situation.

Stringer made a lot of bad decisions on the show. Season 1 gave the green light to kill Orlando. Season 2 going behind Avon's back and making a deal with Prop Joe and killing D, fukk D's baby mama behind his back, setting up Brother Mouzone, questioning Mouzone about who shot him. Season 3 not killing Marlo in the beginning, giving money to Clay Davis and trying to have him killed, confessing to killing D, snitching on Avon. Even when they were kids Stringer tried to steal a bad minton set that Avon told him not too. Avon was always smarter than Stringer, but also more hot head. But, Stringer is partially responsible for bring down the Barksdale's organization

Problem is Stringer isn't a business partner. He's under Avon, a subordinate and he tried using Avon's organization for his ends.

Stringer may have been right but Avon was still his boss and I'd say he had to go as soon as he started putting his ambitions before Avon's interests. :yeshrug:
