Nope. Definitely generational.

There's more pussies bred now than before and there's more people who don't give a fukk. The reason why other parts of the world are cool with it is because they know how to keep shyt between the lines. They understand you can show up and get shown up too. In America you're taught that you're all winners and that if someone is violating that by reveling in his own joy at your expense, you get salty. Look at the movie Fresh. Youngin was swaggin on Jake and Jake kills him cuz he was embarrassed. Granted that was extreme, but too many times people can't just say "fukk it, he got me"

That and we're too worried about how kids see it (since kids don't have control over their tempers)

I think it's because cac Americans are historically blue collar Anglos and to them sports represents a contradiction: work AND fun. Although I respect cac Anglos' strong work ethic and attitude, I'm not against game celebration.
Age and cultural differences. Nobodies right or wrong it's all personal preference :yeshrug:

I won't even say it's just a white culture thing it's partly a generational thing too. Older dudes are more prone to be turned off by celebration then young guys

I think it is wrong and hurtful to punish people or to advocate punishmet for celebrating. If it's only personal preference, people should shut up and bear the fact others don't share the same opinion as them.

Sports in the US is very business like actually. It has its good and its bad things. It is a bit annoying that ESPN runs all these crazy stats but US and a lot of people around the world eat it up. The whole business-like and statistics approach is a very American invention. Unless someone can prove to me otherwise.

I'm trying to see how what you posted runs counter to my point.

These killjoys make up a large portion of sports talk radio and aren't all old
