Swear to god I was just about to make this thread.

Have a discussion on fighting in the NBA and NHL with one these "bro" types (I work with one; NYC type, worse kind). Loves to go on & on about the "culture" in basketball but when I grill him about the uselessness of fighting in hockey, the pleas are copped. Just ask what happens to the fundamental part of the game of hockey if fighting is taken away and they give you all type of bullshyt explanations. I don't even bother having a discussion on anything not work related with them. Then he's a Jets fan to top it off

So you're drawing parallels between the actual opposing player being upset he and his team are being swagged on and embarrassed in their own stadium (not the fact that cam isnt being professional) to the stick in the ass media and whining fans at home who are simply viewers of the game and should be enjoying the entertainment, yet they're outraged

they need to lighten up too. And at this point I don't see why people are even suprised by the media causing fake outrage. that's what they do, they aren't upset. And yea I'm drawing parallels it doesn't matter in what form it was, that dude was mad cam got his celebration on, Curtis lofton last year was mad cam got his celebration on, titans fans were probably mad cam got his celebration on, so no I don't see the difference

@ you bringing up it's just entertainment and they should view it as such. Of course they should,but you know full well that isn't the case. People out there thinking they are affiliated with the team talking about " we" I watched a game with a co worker who was pitching a fit inside a restaraunt, I had to tell him to calm down to which he irrationally replied " sleepy no one is going to whip my butt" as if that was even the point
