Manhunter, the book, is still one of the most disturbing reads. The show doesn't do the book justice.

In Cold Blood by Truman Capote is one of the original True Crime stories and is pretty good but you have to be ready for a lot of racist cac N word usage but the dudes who it is about are bytch made to their core and you can tell they were compensating for being weak losers without giving away too many details. This is the usual reason for racists being the way they are, they feel power by targeting the marginalized. Real coward loser shyt.

it can make you overly paranoid despite the fact there are way less serial killers than there were a few decades ago. combine that with 24-hour news cycle and social media that highlights negativity and you get a fearful, paranoid population

i used to fukk with JCS criminal psychology and coffeehouse crime but it all starts to blend together at some point. psychopaths and sociopaths are boring and predictable in their own way

Facts my relative watches this shyt so much she's paranoid about being home alone and makes comments about being at restaurants or public places because someone could come in and shoot the place up or comments about someone could be a serial killer. I be like why do u even think of shyt like that
