People like sitting up high and the utilization of space. I prefer a big body coupe or sedan but I also like to sit low and take curves. Can’t do that in the SUV equivalent. I rented a few Range Rovers using Turo to drive along the Gulf states and they weren’t bad but not my preference for a daily driver.
That’s why they roll over. Most of our US car makers have stopped making cars and make multiple models of SUVs and trucks.

I got a single friend with no kids and he driving around in an SUV. I asked him why and he couldn’t even really answer. Straight up just living in excess and contributing to warping the car market.

This yo car breh? :dame:

Let us men continue to drive big boy vehicles :obama:
I drive this and have never had an issue. You could fit a 65 inch TV in the hatchback with the seats down.

nobody can quote any data from the NHTSA or ANY insurance company to provide empirical evidence that Trucks/SUV cause more accidents/fatalities.

More importantly, OP clearly is a person who's day to day requirements do not support having a SUV/Crossover/Truck......and wants to blame you for vehicle prices increasing.....not car companies collectively raising prices.
Bullshyt 🤣. Mfs with Trucks and SUV's always driving like a$$holes. You dont need insurance evidence to back that up.

Why does he needs a reason that you approve of?

You are pretty vocal about how you live your life and take offense when others question it so this seems like an odd stance to have.

We 're a large family of tall people, we do have a sedan(ES350) that I use to drive to work, a crossover for my wife and a large SUV for family trips. Love the space of my large Tahoe however as soon as I find a great deal (my "Hoe" Got very low mileage) Im copping A Toyota/Lexus truck. We got 2 Lexus and the reliability is just through the roof.
Also these environmentalist talk shyt about SUV's and vehicles but don't say shyt about Planes and how they use in fuel in an hour compares to what 16 cars use in a month. Its simple its the Government fault for selling out to big auto. There is no reliable public transportation in most places and no highspeed interstate Trains like in europe ,asia and other "first world" countries.

I’ve always had sedans, but it’s rough when you can’t see past everyone else in traffic, because 80 percent of them have SUV’s.

My next car will probably be one. I could use the cargo space, and it’s nice to ride sitting a bit higher.

Suvs and trucks are more comfortable and in the event of a wreck you got a better chance surviving. Also its just an American thing. I'd say being anti suv and truck is probably the most un-American take a person could have :mjpls:
