what type of argument is this?Nowhere in my post did i deny science or say it is shaky. I'm saying it hasn't caught up to spiritual experiences

who said it wasn’tBUT IF A THING IS REAL IT CAN BE MEASURED SOMEHOW.
IF IT CANNOT EVER BE MEASURED IN ANY WAY THEN ITS PROBABLY FICTION
Your example of the two jars of rice is an experiment.
Asking the crowd
"Have you ever has this happen to you?" is a tool that scientists use. Called a survey.
Your post is arguing that these mysterious effects are
REAL
but "science" can't detect them. But then you try to prove that these forces exist by using
scientific method.
"We all know these things are real because we have all experienced them"
"I took some rice and I did my own experiment. This is how it went"
You're trying to point out things that can be measured in some way to prove that mysterious forces are actually at work.
So that would just mean "science" is not advanced enough. They need you. Since the current experiments aren't detecting the effects, but your experiments are getting results...
That means one simple thing. You're the next level scientist to show the rest of us the truth.
BUT IF A THING IS REAL IT CAN BE MEASURED SOMEHOW.
IF IT CANNOT EVER BE MEASURED IN ANY WAY THEN ITS PROBABLY FICTION
There's a difference between saying something is unfalsifiable and "bullshyt", I believe that's were ppl get caught up.Before science caught up to stuff that already existed, it was called magic or bullshyt. But now in 2021 yall still deny spiritual experiences?
For example: The Law of attraction, Prayer or Manifesting:
A Scientist or Athiest will say bullshyt, after conducting repeated tests with no desired results
based on the prerequisites:
- measuring tools
- the environment
- the subject(human) which is a unique variable.
Even with the millions of testimonials, "it's bullshyt".. when it is possible you haven't got the tools to measure it, the correct environment or the correct subject.
I did the Dr emoto test with the rice years ago.
I had two jars of rice in the same place, i was meticulous, i put the rice in at the same time, the same amount and closed the lids at the same time. One jar i was calling all types of "fakkit", "bytch ass nikka", "fat smelly hoe". The other was "you a dime", "you immaculate", "dem feet".. the jar i was spouting negativity too started to rot
I know everyone on here has thought of someone, and then they get a phonecall from said person. Or having that feeling something horrible has happened in your heart and then you get the news someone has died
But because science can't measure it, it's bullshyt
The ego of you muthafukkas.![]()
Agree with everything else, but this gave me pause as I can think of more than a few things that we, humans, believe to be 'real', yet cannot be measured in any objective manner.....
Love
Justice
Beauty
Honor
Good
Evil
Etc.
These lie outside the realm of science and can't be quantified, but no human being would call these 'fiction'.

Love is the most fascinating thing out there for me imo. There's a great youtuber who does some good Long form videos on Justice and Beauty called Contrapoints. Doesn't speak on the scientific part of it but how humans operate around those concepts.
Most of the coli would hate her tho because she's trans![]()
