It's the perception he gives out along with the numerous stories of him not getting with people. Dude just gives off an a$$hole vibe that rubs a lot of people the wrong way
What more can I say? Over the years I've heard person after person say the same thing about him

my brother in law's brother worked at the ritz in the early 2000s. when the lakers came up to play the warriors, the lakers would stay at the ritz. he would tell us how shaq and most of the lakers were real cool, shooting the shyt with fans/employees of the hotel, signing autographs etc.
kobe on the other hand acted like he was royalty, walking right by people asking him for a picture or an autograph. he said he would complain about random shyt and NEVER tipped anyone lol.
that tells u the kind of a$$hole he is. u got shaq who at the time was arguably the biggest name in the nba, clearly the best and most important player of the lakers
and he wasnt full of himself to the point where he was ignoring ppls request for pics and shyt.
also never forget how he snitched on shaq for cheating on his wife. what kind of bytchmade shyt is that? dude grew up with no friends and still has no friends i bet. just ppl that work for him.

lol @ dudes 3rd cousins uncles wifes telling them stories bout bean. ive seen dude at UCI gym multiple times although he was an a$$hole while working out and people bothering him he even hit me with the look wen i asked if i can borrow his dumbbells, but as soon as he was done dude was chilling with people laughing joking.
