I'll never understand this so called Kobe quit shyt, I specifically remember Phil at the end of the game telling reporters the plan was to get everyone else back involved offensively because Kobe's solo scoring wasn't getting the job done. The team's success against the sons was Kobe gettin everyone involved, sons was the one team that could answer Kobe's binge scoring ability so everyone needed to score(esp the bigs) and play defense/slow the tempo. His teammates shrunk in the moment and from then til now Kobe has been blamed for quitting just because he didn't decide to go off like he did for 81 or 62 in 3. The irony is amazing actually, lets me know just how deep the hatred is for Kobe. In due time people gon look back at that series and peep the shyt, its actually noble Kobe's name has taken on all that dirt just to shield those bums from the fact that they absolutely bailed on him in Game 7.
I'm mad Kobe didn't just ballhog for the fukk of it at that point cuz the series was lost in Game 6 anyway.

- he quit on his team against phoenix game 7 (didnt take one shot in the fourth quarter)
- he ran off shaq thinking he was the man, only in three years to bytch and moan and wanting to get traded
- he openly threw his teammate under the bus, saying they should have traded bynum sorry ass for jason kidd,
