Shaq won nothing with Nick Van Exel/Eddie Jones/Rick Fox/Robert Horry in the starting lineup with him.

Shaq won NO rings with Penny/Nick Anderson/Dennis Scott/Horace Grant, even though they made the Finals and he doesnt make it thru the Western Conference Playoffs without Kobe leading the way in most of those Lakers series'.

It was stated back then that the WCF was the "REAL NBA Finals"....and Kobe was usually the one dominating it for the Lakers

Yes, the 2000 Lakers win was Shaq being the major piece no doubt, but 2001 and 2002, was Kobe showing out during the playoff run up until the Finals were they allowed Shaq to go to work on the weak East big men.

Kobe actually wanted to leave the team because HE didnt want to play with Shaq no longer, not the other way around. Shaq was running Kobe out of town, plus with his financial demands that Dr. Buss didnt believe Shaq was worth, it caused the perfect storm for the Lakers to trade him to Miami.
