the point of the song is that some dudes want to come in a woman's life and provide for her, give her a better life, make her be a good girl, etc (aka save her). but she doesn't want to be saved. she'll play the role of the girl who wants to be saved to trick you until you've served your purpose. you can't change a hoe. you can't save her from herself.

men generalize it to all women because everything is relative. it will always apply on some level. you can present options to people. but you gotta let them choose. and that goes for everyone, not just women.

certain things are hard to explain though. you either feel it or you don't. the saying makes perfect sense to me

This does not relate but I never gave you a follow up to that story. Jace ended up texting me telling me he may say he's okay with me talking to his room mate but deep down he really doesn't want me to.This conversation led to him subliminally asking me out, which I turned down because I felt like the only reason he was trying to get me to be his girlfriend was because his room mate was interested in me & Jace did the "male," thing & got competitive.

I wouldn't call those characters "saving," those women.There were other circumstances that put those women in a better place in life as well.(Cutting off past relationships, moving,etc).When people say "save," they usually say they were saved by a higher power (like God or Jesus).So for some of the men on here to say they want to "save," a woman just shows how they think they are some sort of superior, "godly," figure.
