I guess it's like Toronto. Great city to fukk bytches and leave but not one you want to set up shop in :manny:
thats not even a fair comparison for toronto. They've won their division twice since they were formed...in that same stretch, atlanta sure hasn't. Since 1995 (raptors inception) they've easily been more successful and have had legitimately more stars.

because its a loser franchise

they've never won anything
they have no legendary moments
they have no conference finals appearances
they have no titles
they have no great coaches
they have one great player

why would you subject yourself to a team with decades and decades of failure to average performance? Can't you do better in any market? The Houston Rockets make the Atlanta Hawks look like the Boston Celtics.
It ain't even that. There are loser franchises with better attendance. Crappy organizations that fill stadiums after BLATANTLY screwing over their own fans.

The Hawks don't even promote their own players in a good light more times than not and players generally have no interest in working for that ownership group - not because they're racist ( :duck:), because they'll fill teams with garbage leaving them like :aicmon: or :deadrose:, or because they're cheap, its because the ownership group can't even agree with itself. There've been numerous trades and personnel decisions that got flipped back or screwed up because of guys not even being on the same page. You can't be ALL kinds of fukked up.

This fan stuff is overblown. Michael vick was loved and every game was a sell out.

hawks havent had a star on nique's level. And when he was here we supported them strongly. Hawks ownership and inept gms have been what held that franchise back. Blown lottery picks.

I mean LA is a big market and the hawks havent been as much a failure as the clippers have been.

There's only a handful of franchise players and you never see a franchise player sign with a different team by himself. Its the team-up era so you not going to convince a big name without having other big names.:ld:

False, all toronto stars have begged to leave. When has winning your division been that big of an accomplishment? :mjlol:

Falcons ownership pre-Ryan, Falcons ownership after Ryan, and Hawks ownership are VERY different.

Also, Georgia is a football state thanks to years of SEC goodness.

The Hawks have had repeating playoff teams that played in some of the most exciting series of the decade. Have one of the best bigs in the league and one of the most exciting young PGs in the league right now. They can't market either for shyt. That's on them. The fukkin Bobcats had more growth in two years than ATL did in damn near 20.

All like two?

The only bonafide stars that ever left in their prime were Vince (certified bytch and crybaby) and Chris Bosh - who was never going to turn down the chance to play with two hall of famers :lolbron:

McGrady was shown the door because Wince had it on lock and that's like.... the end of the list.

Toronto's fan support has been consistently amazing all things considered. Especially for an expansion team.
