I didn't think anyone listened to new artists.

Last new artists album I listened to was game and he was pure shyt (nice beats though), I only listened Cos he was heavily co signed by dr. Dre.

The UK rap I listen to doesn't copy the US, but the artist will never be big, cos they don't really try to sell out, (Jehst, Chester p, klashnekoff, etc), they're the definition of local and I hope they stay like that.

But when we do sell out, it's decent too.

Ok, this is actually decent. i don't know why y'all ozzies don't try promote them Aborigine rappers more. That's pretty much all anyone outside of Australia is interested in hearing and if you ask me, they are really the only ones making anything worthwhile down there.

I spent some time down there and I'm semi familiar with australian hip hop and mostly what gets promoted is a bunch of white boys either on some hippy shyt or tryna act tough and most of it is just awful. but them Aborigines seem to really embrace hip hop, not on some breakdancing and graffitti shyt, but they really seem to relate to the history alot more, but yall dont promote em and i just dont understand why

if y'all want to legitimize hip hop in Australia on the world stage, y'all need some Aborigines at the front, cause we got our own white boys, why would we want to hear yours. But like I said I spent some time down there and I kinda get why y'all don't promote Aborigine rappers, its cause most ozzies don't really seem to like Aborigines, like y'all are really behind the times when it comes to race relations.
