that bolded is truth. This generation is all about Trends and following them. of course someone sets them. but even the way they're set is a REACH moment. everyone is trying to go viral, everyone is trying to be a star now. this is what happens when you put the camera in everyones face. the cameras only use to be in hollywood and new york. now they are everywhere due to youtube. it means we are all stars to someone. thats a problem. you had people from the middle of nowhere always feening for that hollywood life. but they could never get it. now they can get a taste of it now. if they can just get their video to go viral. they will do anything to make it happen. this is where the "WORLD STAR!!!!" foolishness comes from. running to a bad scene to video something vs helping the person or breaking up the foolishness or just leaving. because everyone wants to be that person that made that thing blow up.
then everyone else gets in line and follows the trend. the following trend thing is so bad now that yall dont have your own identity.
i'll give you an example. my niece is a young millennial. she's in this group of dudes and girls. anyway they were told to give each other christmas gifts. you know a gift exchange.
i'm driving her grandmother around talking about it. and her grandmother tells me and my wife "guess what they all got each other? Starbucks gift cards."
we were like lol, most of them.haa haa.
She was like" NO, ALL OF THEM BOUGHT EACH OTHER THE EXACT SAME GIFT CARD."
now wait a second. how GROUP Think can you get when you go out on your own and end up doing the exact same thing as 20 other kids? Thats a problem youngins. a serious problem. Thats killing your creativity. what makes YOU, YOU.
the TREND does not make you YOU.
There was something else they did where they all ended up doing the exact same thing, the exact same way. like little robots.
I agree, but Im glad that the cameras are no longer centered in Hollywood and NY. That's what caused the southern breakout in 2003. Globalization also killed those centered locations.
