People always take shots at the by far biggest, most powerful, most known etc city.. New York in the states, London in the UK, Paris in France and on.

Musically NY is still a top 3 city and has been since they created hiphop.
The only other city that can top NY is ATL. Black people advancing in terms of careers, families, academics etc = New York. Decreasing in terms of crime, ignorance etc = New York.
