Why does hiphop Treat its Legends the worst

Man the legends tours do nice numbers here in Detroit. Can't expect those cats to be able to tour bumfukk Kansas and get paid though. It still a business at the end of the day. Hell the so called popular Hip Hop artists not selling out arenas so what makes you think the old school cats should be...

whenever other genres of music do all-time lists, you actually learn something, and most of the stuff is usually older. often times, the noob-recognizable names are like specs.

but when it comes to rap, "all-time" seems to be a term for "everything that dropped after I started listening".

look at that top 50 list that we were talking about last week. they had random rappers like mos def in the top 20, while real 1st-ballot hall of famers like caz, mel, moe dee etc weren't even considered for the list at all.
