Why does Lebron refuse to go to a ball movement-heavy offense?

Even in Miami with a high IQ team he had no interest in playing that style. Let's be real, Lebron wants his stats. When playing in a heavy motion offense the individual numbers may take a hit. Lebron wants to win his way. Dude has 3 titles so can't totally knock him but I think he's left a few on the table by needing to be the center of the offense and everything revolving around him.

Also hurts that Lebron wants lots of shooting around him even at the expense of defense or playmaking which helps keep the floor spread and his game at its best.

you have no idea what youre talking about.

If the team breaks up watch Love and Kyrie flourish.

I mean Kyrie was never going to be a traditonal point guard but developing as someone who CAN facilitate is never going to happen in LeSystem.

LeStoolpigeon snitched his way to a ring in Cleveland...minus well break it up and let Love go to a team where he can actually play to his strengths and Kyrie can actually test the limits of Mamba mentality.

So why did

Trade for and sign them, and place a puppet at head coach? :jbhmm:

Only time he's ever played in a proper offensive system was when Riley pulled his card after trying to get Spolestra fired and he performed at the highest level he ever will in his entire career.

THAT'S the dumb shyt. He legit regressed going back to Cleveland and going back to his old way.
Pretty much. LBJ was winning in Miami, but without putting up all these record breaking Finals stats. He's never averaged more than 28ppg in any of the finals he's played in Miami, despite being at his physical peak in Miami. The system worked out for him in the end, and Spo doesn't get enough credit. Look how well Spo did this year...

Coach of the year imho.

:wow:

Like has already been said, he'd have to sacrifice his touches and numbers to play that way and he hasn't shown any interest in that since he went back to Cleveland. For how high is BBIQ is, it's strange how poorly he plays off the ball.

He could have more energy on defense too if he allowed a different offensive system too, plus the team would be a lot better with him off the court.

Kyrie and Love would "flourish" on 35 win teams :skip:

Has hasn't needed to, he has been good enough to not need to make that jump.
He is no longer good enough to do that and other teams have joined up to stop him, so he needs to make that change.
Its going to be on Lue to implement a real motion offense where LeBron can be a cog with a part that can freestyle when he has to, like any great player, and LeBron gonna have to buy in.

Question for the brehs, how exactly do you pad stats?

Because in Lebron offenses, the offense flows through him to a fault.

Lebron style offense is predicated on the defense collapsing on him and he kicks out on a drive to an open jump shooter.

When it works, its great for Lebron (he gets the points if the defense doesn't contain him, the assist when his spot up shooter makes the shot) and the easiest check those role players make (they literally just have to find a spot on the floor and wait).

The problem is, defenses wised up to this years ago. Because Lebron isnt a strong perimeter shot, defense just crowd the paint and deny Lebrons passes, daring him to shoot.

Not only that but if those role players, like Korver and Shump, arent hitting their shots; the plans falls apart as well.

Youre left with a bunch of guys who have no idea how to move without the ball and havent been practicing any other moves in the skill set.

All the points have been made

This is why the "Lebron has no help:damn:" "There's only so much he can do:damn:" "Look at his stats:damn:" arguments have no bearing

It's basically him and another perimeter player (Kyrie, Wade) going one on one all game as everyone else watches.

You can give bron a prime Tim Duncan and he'll turn him into a spot up shooter:heh:

I don't know if he would actually give a shyt about his stats taking a hit...But that's not his game :yeshrug:.... He's been very successful tailoring teams and teammates to cater to his playstyle...It kinda is what it is... He's like a 6'8 more efficient Russell Westbrook with a better team around him... His teams inevitably become less than the sum of it's parts (guys like bosh and love end up with a fraction of their normal impact) but he's had stacked enough teams and individually great enough to where it ultimately doesn't matter sometimes ... To me it's only an issue when we start getting the ":sadbron: poor LeBron has to do everything...He needs more help" shyt pops up EVERY time he loses... Especially when he's damn near handpicked his revolving door of allstars and Bron ball shooters to play with for like the entirety of his prime and killed coaches that wanted to implement a more modern motion based offense to bring puppets in... It can't be both ways

they dont have enough good facilitators as accuracy and bball IQ on the team. bron is the only one that sees the floor well enough to play that type of system and can read and react. are you going to depend on JR smith, shumpert, and thompson to do that ? :usure:

well of course. he handpicked those players because they were the exact role players lebron wants for his playing style. he even got TT his contract.

I agree with your post as far as his offense but how is that padding stats and not just his style of play?
