Because in Lebron offenses, the offense flows through him to a fault.

Lebron style offense is predicated on the defense collapsing on him and he kicks out on a drive to an open jump shooter.

When it works, its great for Lebron (he gets the points if the defense doesn't contain him, the assist when his spot up shooter makes the shot) and the easiest check those role players make (they literally just have to find a spot on the floor and wait).

The problem is, defenses wised up to this years ago. Because Lebron isnt a strong perimeter shot, defense just crowd the paint and deny Lebrons passes, daring him to shoot.

Not only that but if those role players, like Korver and Shump, arent hitting their shots; the plans falls apart as well.

Youre left with a bunch of guys who have no idea how to move without the ball and havent been practicing any other moves in the skill set.
