I know there's going to be folks that say 'there was crap in every era' and thats true, but with the advent of home studios and such there's a much higher frequency of crap than ever before. the only contemporary artist I dig is the weeknd really. its no wonder I live in the past when it comes to music (and other things too)

There is no good shyt at all. your instagram/reality show personality is way more important nowadays than the so called garbage music.

Why do I have to look for good music when it was so easily available when I was growing up with no internet GTFOH.

Twenty years ago we didn't have to "look" for good music, we were just that year with masterpieces and classics.

Basically opera was invented in 1600 and it was for rich people. Commoners couldn't afford to go. Operas were long as fukk and very technical as far the music went ( hard to sing and hard as fukk to play. equate this to rock and roll guitar solos of the 70's 80's) It got so out of hand that cats in the 1600's and 1700's was like " yall gotta dumb some of this shyt down mayne."
