That's my fukking point. Just because mainstream ain't giving u what u want, shouldnt deter u from finding what u like. It should give u the incentive to discover. And if u can't do that; u shyt outta luck.
Basically opera was invented in 1600 and it was for rich people. Commoners couldn't afford to go. Operas were long as fukk and very technical as far the music went ( hard to sing and hard as fukk to play. equate this to rock and roll guitar solos of the 70's 80's) It got so out of hand that cats in the 1600's and 1700's was like" yall gotta dumb some of this shyt down mayne."

Nobody bytched about music like this in the 70s, 80s, 90s, the good shyt outweighed the bad shyt so much, it was ridiculous.

I aint look for nothing in 2014, I'm satisified with what I already have. Looking for good music is just a waste of time.
it's not even like it's hard. just find a song you like and the internet suggests shyt for you. between youtube, soundcloud, and pandora...you really can't run out of shyt. and if you do, pick up a magazine and just give something random a few honest spins.

Drake is clearly a romantic era artist. He sings/raps about very emotional topics. He also displays elements of the baroque era by the fact that he plays multiple instruments (rapping/singing)

cant really say...it cycles when major events take place. for example Slavery, Freeing of the slaves(antebellum), World war I and II, Vietnam, Civil Rights, etc.
Pretty much, and I can't remember the last time I listened to the radio.
I would rather listen to party all the time from eddie murphy on repeat all day than listen to all the filth and garbage being played on the radio today, I'm serious.
And eddie murphy was being laughed at when it came out in the mid 80s but i love bad songs too back in the day, at least they had meaning.
