They dress like rappers, and they are rappers.
50 is one of the few people who dress like a 55 year old Congolese small business owner. But he was dressing like a Nigerian scammer in his 30s, so that’s a natural progression

I don't know what anyone else is telling you but I'm saying if you're not working a 9-5 then (and this goes for everyone from Mark Zuckerberg to Benny The Butcher) then you can pretty much wear whatever you want because....well, who is going to stop you?

Extreme examples like Gunna are gonna get clowned....but at the end of the day, jokes aside, the same concept applies.

Word. Plus, shyt, Ice T is 63 and he dresses exactly how he dressed in the 90s lol.

Like I said, some people change up, but it's very rare. Most people keep the same style of fashion their whole lives. They may change with the times, but they not switching their entire style up. Anything prior to the 80s is pre-Hip Hop era, so you can't really go back to how 50+ year olds were dressing back in the 50s, 60s, and 70s as a reference point. And I think that's what a lot of people are doing. The way street nikkas dressed changed in the 80s going into the 90s, and 2000s. So as time goes on, you gonna see more and more people 50+ dressing like Rae and Ghost or Hov or Nas, etc...

Not to mention a lot of the 90's stuff either came back or never went anywhere.

I got teenagers asking me why I'm wearing Champion, North Face, Carhartt, and retros. Because they're wearing it now.

I was like

THE MOST OUTTER REACHES OF THE COSMOS
Fresh Kicks,Timbs,Champion,501’s,loose fit or baggy jeans and Fitteds aka ProStyle ain’t going Nowhere…..These brands along with a few more accessories have been staples in HipHop since the 80’s and are embedded in the culture! This style of dress is typically targeted to the 40 to 50 year old heads, but u do have some of these older heads trying to dress like these youngins, looking foolish and ridiculous, trying to fit in and keep up!:mjlol:FOH :camby:

I’m always fascinated with how personal some of you take digs aimed at rappers you grew up on. Interesting :leostare:
