Like I said, some people change up, but it's very rare. Most people keep the same style of fashion their whole lives. They may change with the times, but they not switching their entire style up. Anything prior to the 80s is pre-Hip Hop era, so you can't really go back to how 50+ year olds were dressing back in the 50s, 60s, and 70s as a reference point. And I think that's what a lot of people are doing. The way street nikkas dressed changed in the 80s going into the 90s, and 2000s. So as time goes on, you gonna see more and more people 50+ dressing like Rae and Ghost or Hov or Nas, etc...

The thing is back then in the 70s and 80s, the fashion for the old heads wasn't as fly so they looked way out of character. 90's style was one of those 1 in a million things where you will look fly no matter what era and it seems to be coming back anyway. If you were a teen or in your 20s in your 90s, you'll get hated on for trying to "dress like a teen" when in fact that's all YOU KNOW growing up during that time.
