Yes, I'd rather be the Sixers than the Celtics, why do you think Ainge was willing to give up so much just to get into the top 10. Even he can see that the roster is full of nothing but roleplayers, and what do you mean the Sixers don't have a franchise level talent? The Celtics would give up damn near their entire roster to get Jahlil look at both of those teams and the two best players are on the Sixers (Jahlil & Nerlens). What good is a coach if you don't have the weapons needed to actually win, the Celtics are desperately trying to find an impact player right now, but being middle of the road is where it's at for you.


So a rebuild should take no more than 3 years, got it, again where is your discussion about the Jazz, Magic and Wolves? All of them have been in rebuild mode for the last couple years, why is it you only focus on the Sixers and not those 3 teams as well?

The point about West is that had they made the playoffs, they would have lost him and not been in the position to draft his replacement. By missing the playoffs they were able to draft Myles Turner and will eventually have the caproom to pursue a PG. Your plan of making the playoffs would have left them in a spot where they'd have to spend money on a frontcourt player that should be going to a wing. They also had the opportunity to draft Cameron Payne, if they made the playoffs that wouldn't have been the case, they choose a big over him, but the point still remains making the playoffs this year would have hurt them.
