You got fans of franchises who've been bad for almost 20 years saying they don't want to do what the Sixers did because their bad for too long :mjlol: meanwhile they've only been bad for 4 years and will be back in the playoffs in a year and a force in a few years with draft picks and assets up the ass while their teams are scratching and clawing to be the 8 seed and food in the first round

And you know the other owners are praying it doesn't work. They don't want people to see that tearing it completely down can work

this dude talking about the Timberwolves and Jazz are who we need to aspire to be like (how many chips did they win while we were losing btw) meanwhile we got ourselves a generational talent at center and one of the most highly touted prospects out of college in years in Simmons on deck .

Wish my lakers would take note. And the hawks. Hawks don't have anything to play for, best player will be out the door at the end of the season, Dwight is a day away from washed. It's time to find that blue chipper

Yes but not just any GM could do what Hinkie did. He swindled the suns and Milwaukee of the lakers pick for MCW, the kings pick swap, the unconditional 2019 kings round pick, and he got what would've been a top 12 pick from Minnesota for Thad young, had Miami not tanked hard at the end of 15' season. And allegedly, he wanted to Porzingis, but management wanted a name player in Okafor. He made Danny ainge look like the Ernie Grunfeld of gm trades.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
if this shyt works out for the Sixers (in some respect it already has), the league has a problem on its hands.

fans of other teams are already doing the :patrice: and demanding their teams blow it up and start tanking.

With the new CBA tanking is now the most viable way to get a star player, there will be less FA movement from star players.

They get the Lakers pick this year if it falls outside the top 3, they get the right to swap picks with the Kings if it's the first and they have the 5th, they get the 1, and they also get the Kings pick in 2019 with no protections. Hinkie set this team up.

The new CBA has pretty much made tanking a gold mine if you can just select the right players :francis:

Okafor is obviously the odd man out so Philly need to send him to Swag Antonio for Anderson, Forbes, and a 1st:francis:
