People are stupid. Between the IT subreddits and multiple money and other interests, it is by far the best collection of text-based info. I am in school right now and can google my class number and guess what? Reddit reviews and tips about the very same classes. Anyone bagging on it clearly has personal issues. Its the best resource since wikipedia popped off in the early 2000s.

I just dont think many use reddit and assume its like storefront. Reddit is probably the best site on the planet, there are so many gems there its insane. People don't realize how to look for subreddits either and just get on whatever is popular.
