For some reason alot of posters on here associate being a landlord with being white or being in a position of power. Most of TheColi is broke and struggling so it's mostly due to jealousy that they associate being a landlord with

2 bed/1 bath 1000 sqft in a luxury building ….it’s in a gentrified area. And yeah it’s a total risk. I never intended on being an landlord, but I didn’t want to give up the spot because there’s been a lot of investment there in the past 5 years…my wife agreed and saw the value..so we held on and just found renters
because a lot of people are busting their ass barely able to make it in this country while their landlord is making passive income off of their hard work just to keep a roof over their head.
I understand that I have no excuse. But thats not the landlords fault in a lot of cases. They have bills to pay too like a mortgage. A lot of landlords are just regular folks who saved up to buy one rental property. Not corporate blood suckers. I agree there's landlords who are shytty but to hate on all landlords like there all filthy rich greedy people is reaching. There's lots of landlords that aren't even "rich" per se, they're just regular folks trying to open up other streams of revenue

Broke ppl hate rich people. They'll throw words around like greed to shame them, knowing damn well they'd kill to be in that position. They just don't got the drive or ambition
