The single mom hate is weird because statistically a lot of them had to be raised by single mothers, so they hate their own mom.

People here have so much venom for single mothers, but nobody says “My mom is a thot.” Not that your mom has to be a thot to be a single mother, but that’s what they say about all single mothers. Doesn’t matter if they were in a relationship with the child’s father and it didn’t work out. Doesn’t matter if she’s a widow. TLR logic is single mom=hoe. So keep it real and call your mom a hoe because going by probability, a lot of yalls mom’s are single mothers.

I jokingly said the same thing the other day. There's no way a person can have that much vitriol for single moms unless 1) they were raised by one and have unresolved mommy issues. 2) they have issues with the one they chose to make a mother.

I attribute a lot of the craziness I see posted on here to self hate and ignorance. The hateful rhetoric towards single mothers is no different.

It’s interesting to me that being a single mother equals to being a thot for some of y’all coli dudes. Has it crossed your small minds that a woman can have a child with a man, be together for 10 years, then break up and no longer be with that man? Is she a thot?
