It's simple compare the # of states and population between the northern and southern states and you have your answer

Last year championship team only had 5 dudes from Northern states (considering Indiana north and not midwest) :ld:
While 3 players on the team were from Texas alone :ld:
Bro Southern states do not dominate basketball talent

But they dominate rosters of championship teams. Louisville had 5 cats on their ship roster. Again this is me being generous and giving what's considered the Midwest to the north. I'm just wondering why that's all.

Chicago, Indy and Detroit produce more Hooper's than any southern city. But football is simple: more black folks and they play year round. Football is largely dominated by country folks and I'm the South you got negro's in the country. Up north we mainly in cities

The north doesn't suck at sports. This is just a false perception you have based largely on the SEC's dominance in recent years, which is really more of a cyclical thing than anything else. In fact, the B1G was probably the best overall conference this year and likely will be right there next year (even though Bama won the title). The north doesn't suck at all..

Because there are great athletes there too. It doesn't mean the north sucks. It just means the south is a largely untapped recruiting market for northern schools. Kids tend to want to move toward warmer weather rather than colder if they're going to leave their home area. But with recruiters like Urban, Harbaugh, Dantonio, and Franklin, they're trying to go more national

You don't see many Southern schools trying to tap into the northern market though:yeshrug:

Its self sustainable down here. Northern schools are having to come down to get top skill position players and getting guys from home to fill out the rest of their roster (possible exceptions are Ohio and PA).

Hell, right now Ohio State has 20 people on their roster that are from the South:manny:

20 out of 85, sounds about right. There's talent everywhere. The #1 recruit this year was out of New Jersey :yeshrug:. South has the advantage of weather as where they can play all year round" 7 on 7s"
