for playing the same character in the largest not just comic book, but MEDIA franchise of all time.

The tweet you posted said they'll never give acting awards to actors in a comic book movie and I pointed out that they they've done it twice. It doesn't matter which franchise, character, etc.

Grammy's is by far the worst imo. The way they do Beyonce and Black artists is straight up criminal.
Remember when the DMX (RIP) vs Snoop Dogg Verzuz rivaled the MTV Awards when it came to total views?
Legacy artists nearly 20 years removed from their primes did that.
Folks need to stop attending the Grammy's and do their own.

Only 21 black performers have ever won collectively at the Oscars and of those 9 have won in Best Supporting Actress.
The biggest precursors that “predict” who will win the Oscar is usually Golden Globes, Critics Choice, SAG and BAFTA. Angela was an early front runner winning Golden Globe and Critics Choice but she failed to take home a BAFTA and that made SAG almost a must win and she lost that to Jamie Lee Curtis.
Once Jamie Lee won SAG it was pretty much a wrap for Angela even though I was rooting for her.
The fact she’s a black woman, starring in a comic book movie (A MARVEL one at that) and lost at SAG were the death knells for her. Had she been nominated for ANYTHING other than a comic book film she probably wins. But JLC also had the “Lifetime Achievement” narrative going for her so they gave it to her
