So my question to you is... what other country hasn't enforced slavery? How is that not an honest question? AFRICA had slavery. AFRICANS sold AFRICANS into slavery.

There is always going to be more emphasis on the country in which you reside. We live here. We don't live in Africa. We don't live under the Africans who sold us. We aren't forced and expected to trust the Africans who sold us. When we generalize cops, all it does is piss them off, and hurt their feelings. When cops and white people generalize us, it results in fewer jobs, poorly funded schools, and police brutality and harassment. White people actively hurt us on a regular basis. It doesn't matter how nice we are to them. It never effects the way we are treated. Then they say stop being so sensitve. So if they can't get over verbal assault, how the hell are we supposed to get over daily active assault? Black and white people are friends, and have been friends. It changes nothing.

But it seems like you are willing to have a conversation, so I'll ask... in the interest of learning and discussion... how are you 'actively hurt' on a regular basis by white people personally?
Furthermore if America isn't a great nation, or a nation worthy of our pride... the question is what country on earth WOULD you consider great?

Let me hop in here as a military wife- my husband did 23 years.
The right DOESNT worship the military outside of lipservice and as a cudgel or barricade against those who disagree with them.
"Loving the flag" and a hearty " thank you for your service!" Or a yellow ribbon bumper magnet or flag lapel pin does fukk all for the troops. People do that shyt so they can feel good.
Anyone who truly supports the troops would be concerned with them receiving adequate pay and world class healthcare,. High quality equipment (not just high cost whatever that benefits some campaign donor)
And if you truly respected the troops you wouldn't be so gung ho to send them off to die in various vanity exercises.
A great majority of these super flag wavers couldn't be unassed to hop on down to the recruiters office so spare me with your troop love.
They don't, they actually despise cops as well. They just like the mantra of parroting the rhetoric of I'm right, you're wrong, because I said so....
