Why does Ubisoft think Assassins Creed can box with Cyberpunk 2077?

I really don’t think it’s gonna happen though. I think Ubisoft is gonna delay Valhalla a couple weeks like they did for RDR2

-Cyberpunk is getting delayed
-Assassin's Creed does numbers regardless and will be supported for at least 2 years since there's not an AC game coming out in 2021. Even if Cyberpunk does get released this year, Ubisoft is confident that AC will have strong legs.

The real question is why they are cannibalizing themselves by dropping lesion a week earlier. Why do these publishers think gaming only happens sept-nov?
Watch Dogs comes out 3 weeks before AC.

Why does everybody feel like Cyberpunk is getting delayed again?
Assassins Creed really has nothing to worried about with Cyberpunk way too dedicated of a fanbase at this point for a new IP to cause a dent in sales.

It's saving me money. Assassins creed and Watch dogs will probably be $30-40 for a used copy by the time I finish Cyberpunk.:banderas:
Amazon fukked up and put Legion up for $40 so I preordered it for price guarantee. It's on there for $49.99 now.

For all the hate AC gets, they got a huge fanbase lol. Dropping Legion a week before is wild though, I guess they are just banking on making it for both consoles/.

AC is a steady franchise that has a loyal dedicated fan base. They will do numbers. WD2 low key flopped. Don’t understand the release outside the game needs to drop this fiscal year

WD1 was a major flop too though. A major downgrade. I bought WD2 and that shyt was boring as fukk:why:

AC is an established franchise that has a devoted fanbase and you're making the mistake of underestimating it. The only juggernaut that could cut into their sales to the extent that it'd be significant (if they were brazen and foolish enough to release in the same week) would be R*. Valhalla looks totally uninspired but Ubisoft will get their numbers regardless.
Witcher 3 sold nearly 30 million units, something the assassins creed series has never come close to doing.

I think there's alot more hype for the next game from cd project red than there is for the yearly assassins creed game. Cyberpunk might outsell witcher 3 when it's all said and done, and I dont think Valhalla can reach those numbers considering what the series usually sells.

I don't even like first person games, and i might still cop Cyberpunk. just because big budget rpg games are usually pretty engrossing. probably gonna have like 30 endings and shyt.

Assassin Creed lost me after black flag. Hate the new combat system and was never a fan of the forced sci fi elements. pick a genre. i don't need star trek and lord of the rings in the same shyt.
