You have old heads 'everything was more awesome in the 90s' type people who want it back.
Most of us are fine with going back to listen to old g-funk if we want to hear funk based beats.

Function music is the best thing that happen in la music. We don't have use no double time snare rolls & slow tempos like the south to have the parties & car knock. its a whole new sound with 808s at regular tempo.
