MMA markets to white supremacists who don't like the Black domination of boxing. This will change in a couple decades. When Black people get into MMA full force white people will find something else to do and we'll eventually follow them to that, too.

I watch almost every ufc ppv at a bar with my boys. Three of us black, one is Rican. Back when I was training, I went to a gym that was run by a black dude, and there were a lot of other black people training there. Don't judge us all on a one shytty bar you went to once.
I don't like it. and I've been giving it chances since UFC 1. when they had people like dan severn & ken shamrock.
but yo, remember BET had an MMA show where rappers had their own teams? whatever happened to that? I think they were a tad bit before their time with this show. I wonder if any of the fighters from there moved on to the bigger leagues.

Them white boys are terrified of that happening. When we took over boxing they ran to MMA. The problem is them Brazilians had it on lock
But once MMA really takes off in the hood, its gonna be a wrap for these cave dwellers
The thing that is stopping most black people from migrating to MMA is that MMA is VERY expensive compared to boxing. My BJJ class is 150 a month for a year contract though luckily I found a much CHEAPER dojo.
MMA is more associated with Brazilians if anything. Gracie family and UFC 1 anyone?

I train at a boxing gym and ALL of the people there are black.
I had a big interest in MMA from around 2005-2008 or 09. The Frank Mir/Brock Lesnar fight really soured me. He just sat on him and punched him in the side of the ehad the entire time. I fukkin' hated that fight and stopped following after that.
