Dr. Dre is overrated. Real talk. I ain't hatin on dres accomplishments, but after reading in detail all of the production credits from the chronic 1 & 2, dogg pound album, snoops albums, all those death row albums, eminem, 50 albums. Dude has so many gat damn co producers its rediculous. Mike elizondo, mel man, fred reck, scott storch, daz, and them nyggaz would make the damn beats, but dre would mix it and take the fuccin credit. Wtf iz that? I'm glad daz sued death row/suge and dre to get his credit for production

It's hard to catch Dre's ear in general. We are talking about a guy that doesn't like 85% of his own music, which is why he never puts any out. He didn't even like Deep Cover, but Suge put it out.

Dre has been in the game since the early 80's and only executive produced on Snoop,Eminem,50,Game,Xzibit and K Dot albums and even then he didn't do all the beats on any of em. Dude is a perfectionist.

i doubt he produced most of the good beats he's credited for, but he definitely mixed em, his sound is pretty distinct. if nothing he's the GOAT engineer.

all these people who never been in the studio with Dre talking all this shyt. all the shyt about not getting "proper credit" comes when they have beef. when they good with Dre again, it goes away or they suck up to him again. now you could say "well that's because they are back in his good books" but how many times do people talk shyt JUST BECAUSE they have beef with someone and it's all bullshyt?

dre isnt obligated to work with anybody.

especially if he doesnt like the rapper(i dont know if this is the case tho). thats why collabs mean nothing now. too many people doing collabors just to be nice, or for ulterior motives. i remember when a collaboration meant something.

He's played a huge role in some of the biggest sounds that hit the mainstream. He's one of the best session players there is and he's most likely credited as a producer because he played a sound in the studio that was sampled and looped.
