Why dont more brothas and sistas become cops?

this seems to me to be a logical (just one...not the only) solution to reducing/stopping police brutality.....

the only way to change anything is from the inside....and if we want to change the culture of police depts the only way would be to have more black people in there...protests will not work....

im not naive enough to believe that this would stop everything...but its a good place to start....

we should have people that are actually from or live in our neighborhoods policing our neighborhoods

yep...just look at some of the replies in this thread...this is indicative of the attitudes in our communities...

whether we like it or not...there will ALWAYS be police...so why not have 'our' people in those jobs?
