Pretty much. My dad retired from the force after a little over 20 years. I was thinking about it after I got out of the Marine Corps, but I couldn't pass the physical with one kidney.

Suffice it to say I don't view the police like most of the people on this site. I look at it as an honorable occupation.

this seems to me to be a logical (just one...not the only) solution to reducing/stopping police brutality.....

the only way to change anything is from the inside....and if we want to change the culture of police depts the only way would be to have more black people in there...protests will not work....

im not naive enough to believe that this would stop everything...but its a good place to start....
