The hood doesn't listen to Q
:comeon:

Any OP, that's why I don't fukk with a lot of rap concerts out here. Don't know why the black folks won't come out, but the atmosphere is so fukking corny with all those Asians and white boys (and white girls). It's at least half and half in the other cities I lived in (that had more black people) but out here it's just :scust:

I'm actually considering going to Houston or LA for the future/drake concert to avoid this shyt

Depends on the rapper and the venue or city.

Every show I been too (Boosie,Dolph,Lucci,Jeezy,Gucci,Future etc..) has been full of 90% black people.

Alot of these rappers yall naming don't have big black fan bases tbh, Im not heavily into their music but I would guess that TDE core demographic is cacs.

And people saying blacks don't have disposable income tf :dahell:

How tf do y'all think R Kelly can still sell out big venues full of nothing but horny 35-50 year old black women?

Or old acts like Earth Wind & Fire,Frankie Beverley,The Isleys etc..can still be on the road doing sold out festivals? Black people will come out if they REALLY have a connection to your music, not cause you won a Grammy and have some slack ass shyt forcefed down their throats.

Maybe depends on the city...every rap show I ever been to in stl, from curren$y to krit to boosie to ross to jay z to wayne, have been predominantly black. ..only exceptions I can think of are a tech n9ne/slaughterhouse show and an action Bronson show i went to that me and my people were some of the only black folks there...at the slaughterhouse joint Royce spotted our ass in the crowd and chopped it up with us after their set and was like "I could tell you nikkas weren't prepared for the type of crowd tech brings out :mjlol: "...same thing with shows I've been to in Chicago and atl (where I try to plan trips to catch shows that don't come to the crib )...but these are all towns that have big black populations. ..just never personally experienced the "black folks don't go to rap concerts" stuff

Thank you, I don't know why it's so hard for people to understand this?

Nikka using Phoenix as an example, what's the Black population off Arizona? It ain't much, I'm pretty sure.

And also folks don't factor marketing, who is Schoolboy Q marketed to?

Wrong

Rap concerts are equivalent to parties, you not even focused on the performer cause you're having so much fun dancing and rapping to live music
You just described a house party:mjlol:. Who the fukk pays money to attend a concert and not focus on the acts?:what:

Straight out the fukkin' dungeons of rap
Idk man I was told Nas has only white fans in concerts but when I went to Radio City Music Hall to see him perform for New Years Day it was mostly black.

as for white fans saying nikka, there's no way to prevent it cause everybody raps along to shyt they like in concert and if ts in the song it's in the song.

Now if they called you that it's different.

No i described a rap concert

You want the rappers to have choreography or props?

Every rap concert I've been to has been so lit that you not even focused on the stage

You think anyone at this video is monitoring how many steps Future is taking during his set?
